Topic: Rhonda Nieves' Blog| No Comments »Youth Day 2008 was an amazing experience. Many Youth gathered from all over the world to worship, and praise God. I was one of the Youth, whom attended World Youth Day in Koln, Germany 2005; and I must say each experience is more fulfilled, and enlightening. My most memorable experience was the Stations of the Cross. It amazed me to see over 50,000 people come together to watch, listen, and celebrate the life and death of Christ. Many of those whom i met were astonished to see so many cultures and nationalities come together from across the world to see, and celebrate mass with Pope Benedict. Meeting new people, dancing and singing in different languages bought us all together on our Pilgrimage. I learned that it doesn’t matter the differences or boundaries placed between people, what matters is the faith we have in common for our Lord.
